USC Arts Institute

I am pleased and honored to announce that the USC Arts Institute has asked me to hang 10 images from the But One Man Alone… series in its exhibition space from June to December 2008. I spent the morning there today, navigating all the usual gallery installation dilemmas, but the show is now up. There is also a handout available there with copies of the other 10 images and the accompanying text. Sure, you can see them here on the website, too, but there’s nothing quite as satisfying as seeing a silver gelatin print in person. Digital is for slackers.

The USC Arts Institute is located on the second floor of the Sumwalt Building, and the exhibition space is on the second floor landing and the intermediate landing above. The Sumwalt Building is on the southwest corner of the intersection of Greene and Sumter Streets, across the street from the Longstreet Theater.

If you are unfamiliar with the USC Arts Institute and its many fine programs, please check out their website, as well as that of their partner, the South Carolina Poetry Initiative.
